The "Shqipëria Bëhet" (Shqipëria Becomes Initiative) coalition has made changes to the list of candidates for MPs, causing controversy and uncertainty.
Adriatik Lapaj's father, Ferman Lapaj, who previously headed this coalition's list in Berat, no longer appears in the version finalized by the CEC.
In his place, the list is headed by Aleksandër Bacaj.

Adriatik Lapaj seems to have attempted to correct the storm that was created in relation to the lists of candidates for MPs of his coalition "Albania Becomes Initiative".
The news that his father, Ferman Lapaj, was the leader of the coalition list in Berat immediately made the rounds in the media.
In a reaction on social media two days ago, Lapaj responded by saying that a preliminary list was being used against him and that the candidacy of trusted people on closed lists is the way Albania Becomes is rejecting the closed list.
According to Lapaj, the real candidates are on the open lists, and in the event of a mandate victory, those trusted people on the safe list will withdraw their names to allow the candidate with the most votes from the open list to receive the mandate.
But this ambiguity from the Lapaj-Shabani coalition has caused irony on social networks.
In addition to the father's case, the last-minute deal with Dash Sula, the disappointed Democratic Party MP, also made news, with critics calling it a broken bargain.
