Actor Mehdi Malkaj took the floor at the protest called by the Democratic Party against the government's decision to close TikTok.

"Nothing is done without protest, the Greeks burned Athens, the Serbs tore up the government. But why us, sheep?! We don't have a history of sheep. You have to participate in the elections and vote for this thing called change, because we died," the actor said.

After him, the young participants in the rally took the floor, stating that "TikTok is not the problem in the country" and that free speech should not be censored.

The protest began at 7:00 PM on "Dëshmorët e Kombit" Boulevard, opposite the Prime Minister's Office, and is expected to end at 9:00 PM.
