"I hope you issue sweet laws for us", Baba Mondi surprises Spiropali on her birthday

The Speaker of the Parliament, Elisa Spiropali, was faced with a surprise this evening during the Iftar organized by the World Grandmaster of the Bektashi Order, Haxhi Dede Baba Edmond Brahimaj, known for short as Baba Mondi.

During his speech at the Holy See of the World Bektashi Patriarchate in Tirana, Baba Mondi stated that Spiroali had a birthday today, revealing this fact to those present and offering the cake prepared for this occasion, where he congratulated Spiroali on behalf of all those present.

"In the Iftar we are serving today, we have another joy, the birthday of Mrs. Spiropali. Therefore, on your behalf, I congratulate the Speaker of the Parliament on this holy day: May you turn 100, may you be sweet and may you issue sweet laws for us," said Baba Mondi.

"I humbly thank you for this surprise, dear Baba Mondi. I wish all believers, all those who fast, an easy and accepted fast. I wish we have more love in our hearts, more tolerance, more peace and more understanding. May we come to the aid of those who need it most. Best wishes in this holy month, with so much weight and symbolism, for all believers, for all Albanians," said Spiropali.
