For several days, Prime Minister Edi Rama and former DP leader Lulzim Basha have been engaged in a heated exchange, using the songs of rapper Viktor Paloka, known as Unikkatil, to criticize each other.

Basha was the first to ask Rama, with a song by a rapper from Kosovo, "where are his friends," ironically mocking him for the SP officials imprisoned by SPAK.

Equally "bitter" was Rama's response, who "dissed" him with another Unikkatil song: "Why don't you understand that you can't push me, how many times you tried, every time you failed." These are strong verses for Basha, who has never known a single electoral victory against Rama.

However, this strategy between them seems to be proving successful for both of them, as the clicks captured on social networks have reached peaks, and they are now the talk of the town among young people.

But will this strategy translate into votes? That remains to be seen, but what is known for sure is that so far what it has produced is only more clicks for Unikkatil's songs on YouTube.

While a slight increase in views is noted, comments that say they have returned or discovered these songs thanks to the Rama-Basha duo are also noticeable.
