Blerina Kllokoqi-Rugova, the daughter-in-law of the family of the historical president Ibrahim Rugova, has commented on the statement of the former adviser of the Royal Court, Murat Basha, who revealed that while King Zog Leka I was alive, they planned to find a partner for the Prince.
He said that they considered it reasonable, based on the regulation of the Albanian Kingdom, for Prince Leka to meet and then marry Ibrahim Rugova's daughter, Teuta.
From the close people of King Leka, we thought to create a project for the Prince for a future, with an Albanian girl, but who did not live here. It was about Ibrahim Rugova's daughter.
"That would make a very nice thing. Others thought so, we agreed to a part, but we were not aware that Prince Leka was in a relationship. At that time, everything broke and I congratulated Prince Leka for following his heart", said Murat Basha in "Top Story".
Blerina says that this is the first time she is hearing this statement and idea.
According to her, Teuta was very young at the time that this proposal was made.
"I have never heard of this news. Teuta was very young then, but everyone loves Teuta", said Blerina in Gjesi in T7.
