Images of the wreckage of the private submarine Titan at the bottom of the North Atlantic Ocean have been released for the first time. This tourist submarine exploded last year at the bottom of the ocean during the expedition to see the wreck of the legendary ship Titanic.

The footage was exposed for the first time during a hearing by the US Maritime Board that investigated the causes of the tragedy.

Five people lost their lives in this tragedy. They were the founder of the tourist submarine Stockton Rush, businessman Shahzada Dawood and his 19-year-old son Hamish Harding and French diver Paul-Henri Nargeolet.

The Titan submarine exploded as a result of the great pressure at the bottom of the ocean. In this photo published by the American authorities, a remnant of the end of the private submarine can be seen. It was found after searches by the US Coast Guard at the bottom of the ocean hundreds of meters from the Titanic's location.

The main purpose of the hearing is to find out the causes that led to the catastrophic explosion.
