A 10-year-old Picasso, his paintings are sold for over $150,000

10-year-old Andres Valencia's surrealist-style paintings sell for over $150,000. It's rare for someone at this age to have so much success.

Andres Valencia, 10 years old, some call him "Little Picasso". His surrealist style paintings have been bought by major collectors.

One of the paintings sold for $159,000 at an auction in Hong Kong, while another sold for $230,000 at a charity gala in Italy. So far, he has earned more than $300,000.

Andre's mother, Elsa, says some of them have been donated to AIDS charity amfAR and children's charity Box of Hope.

It's rare for someone at such a young age to have so much success.

Andres says that people should not underestimate children: “If they see a child making sketches on paper, many people would not think of putting them in an art gallery. Sometimes adults just don't understand.”
