Madonna recounts 'near death' experience: God called me, I said no...

During the first concert (of her five concerts) in Los Angeles, Madonna told the audience that she had had a near-death experience. The artist, as she had done other times, brought back the health problems she experienced last summer, when she ended up in intensive care due to a bacterial infection.

A very difficult period, in which she risked her life and was in a coma induced by doctors for several days. In her speech on stage, this time Madonna added an unpublished detail: "I had a near-death experience. I'm not kidding, it was scary, even if I realized it later, because I was in an induced coma."

The singer added that when she woke up from her coma, the first word she said was "no," as her assistant told her. A refusal that Madonna says she addressed to God, who was calling her: "Will you come with me? Come here with us.. And I said no, no, no!"

After this surprising story, Madonna was overwhelmed by the love of fans who came to the concert and made their presence felt with long applause. Madonna then thanked a special person in her concert audience, Dr. David Agus, one of the doctors who treated her during her hospitalization and beyond:

“He had to take so many phone calls from me when I was really sick that I was tired of going from bed to the bathroom. I called her every day asking why I had no power and when she would be back. He just advised me to go out in the sun."

However, it was difficult to even go out into the yard, every little walk felt like a marathon: "I didn't know when I would be myself again." Fortunately, the queen of pop has fully recovered and has been touring around the world since last October
