Journalist and iconic moderator of news editions on Top Channel, Ilir Paço was recently invited to "Invitation to 5" where he spoke about his passion for art and journey in the field of media.
18 years at Top Channel maintaining the weight of the central edition of information, Paço, excited as he goes back in time, has spoken among other things about an unusual event that happened to him during this long period of time on Top Channel television.
Asked by Bieta Sulo, if it ever happened that he was late for the news edition, Paço recalled saying:
"It happened years ago, when I didn't know I had the 12:00 noon edition. Now I remember it with laughter, but at the time there were very awkward moments. I didn't know I was on that schedule because I was always at 7:30 p.m. and my brain was stuck with the news at that time because it turns into a routine. It happened years ago, on August 26th, and I had the Sunday lunch hour that I've never had. I was at home when the director called me and told me to come to the studio. I was at home and it was 11:55. In conclusion I arrived but I was 15 minutes late, a rare thing that had never happened but it is human".
The well-known journalist has shown that as a punishment he spent a month without work, being suspended.
"I was out of work for a month as a punishment. Of course, it was not good for me because it was something human".
Paço also jokingly remembers that, by chance, on August 26 of this year, he had shot to have the 12:00 edition, but that of course he appeared in the schedule after the "lesson" he received last year.
