How rare and incredible are the images that come from India of the fight between a crocodile and a giant python.

We rarely see two predators fighting each other, but in reality the images published on social networks are really brutal.

The clip was originally posted on Instagram by Dev Shrestha, who often shares viral videos of giant snakes in Asia. The video appears to have been filmed in someone's backyard next to a concrete pool.

It is not clear whether one or both of the reptiles in the footage were wild or kept in confinement somewhere.

The footage begins with the crocodile leaping and biting the python's body, over 6 meters long. However, the crocodile makes several movements, biting the python's body and shaking it to "eliminate" it.

The snake tries to react and fight, but as it seems from the footage, the crocodile squeezed it so hard that, according to the witnesses there, the python split in two. It is not known exactly where these scenes were filmed.
