Belgian journalist Marc Roche, who is based in London and specializes in royal family affairs, made a bombshell discovery about Kate Middleton.
In particular, in an interview with Gala he referred to the form of cancer from which the Princess of Wales suffers, citing a well-informed source.
"Everything points to her having a hysterectomy and colon cancer. As he explained, the Princess of Wales is undergoing preventive chemotherapy, which can be done at home, without the need to go to hospital," he said.
Asked when she would return to her royal duties, he said the most likely scenario would be in June or July and she would be at the royal races at Ascot.
“Knowing her concern to always look her best, she will be back when she is fully recovered. One thing is certain: We should not wait for a new statement. There will be no further update on her condition," says Marc Roche, author of The Borgias in Buckingham.
When asked why the princess chose to reveal her illness in a video rather than an official statement, the Belgian journalist replied:
Kate Middleton is an amateur photographer who has worked in fashion, so visuals are very important to her. She is always very careful about her appearance, her image, she trains constantly and eats very little. And as Queen Elizabeth always said "you have to be seen to be believed". What particularly impressed me was the direction of this video. Alone on a garden bench, in jeans, minimal make-up, Princess Diana's ring as the only royal element. Kate Middleton wanted to show that she is close to the people and, in particular, appeal to the younger generation, which does not support the monarchy so much."
