Marv from "Home Alone" is no longer the criminal we all loved.
Anyone who has seen "Home Alone," the iconic Christmas movie, knows that the first film is based on Kevin McCallister (Macauley Culkin), who is accidentally left home alone while his family goes on vacation to Paris.
While he lives alone, two robbers, Marv Murchins (Daniel Stern) and Harry Lime (Joe Pesci) attempt to break into and rob the McCallisters' multi-million dollar mansion.
Of course, eight-year-old Kevin had other plans and devised a series of devious tricks to stop them.
The first "Home Alone" film was released in 1990, and since then Stern has transformed his appearance and career.
Stern completely abandoned his "life of crime" and now lives on a farm where he works as a farmer and sculptor, at least that's what he says himself, surprising everyone.
In a biography on his website, Stern wrote:
“As a child, I was a terrible student, but I excelled in all things artistic — theater, choir, band, ceramics, and sculpture.
I dropped out of high school when I was 17 and moved to New York to become an actor. I got married and became a father when I was 23.
"I've made many great films, but there came a point where I missed my family. I decided to stop traveling, stay home, and focus on my family and my other artistic passions," he said.
@realdanielstern0 I thought I would share this work-in-progress video of a new sculpture I am creating. Thinking of naming it Dancer On A Chair, unless any of you have a better idea... Follow my backup account @Daniel Stern #foryou #goviral #clayart #danielstern ♬ original sound - Daniel Stern
