The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, arrived a few moments ago in Athens at the invitation of the Greek Prime Minister, Qirjako Miçotaqis.

Zelensky will pay an official visit to the Maximos Palace, and then together with the Greek Prime Minister will hold a press conference.

Zelensky is also invited to the dinner that will take place in Athens with the participation of the leaders of the Western Balkans, the head of the European Commission Ursula Von Der Leyen and the president of the European Council, Charles Michel.

Albania is absent from this meeting. Greek Prime Minister Mitsotakis decided not to invite Edi Rama due to the breakdown of relations over the "Beleri" issue, and invited President Bajram Begaj, but the head of state refused, saying that he has a busy agenda.
