Little girl's chilling plea: Please save my mother

The number of victims from the powerful 7.9 magnitude earthquake that hit the border between southern Turkey and Syria has reached 2300, causing more than 9000 injuries.

The tremors, which lasted more than 2 minutes, shook residents after 2 a.m. on Monday.

There are many videos circulating on social networks, among them one terrifying one, where the rescue teams are seen pulling a little girl out of the ruins, amid tears and screams.

While being asked by the rescue teams if there are others, the little girl addressed "Save my mother".
