Three years after a 35-year-old Italian underwent the administration of the first dose of the Astrazeneca vaccine and subsequently died, the Military Medical Commission of Messina (CMO) recognized the causal link between the administration of the anti-Covid-19 vaccine and his death.
Italian media reports that the 35-year-old from Agrigento, who was in excellent health, received the first dose of the Astrazeneca vaccine in April 2021 and died 10 days after the vaccination, leaving behind his wife and three children.
The autopsy revealed that the death occurred due to myocarditis. The CMO's report was sent to the Ministry of Health in Rome, which recognized causation and ordered the payment of compensation to the widow.
"It is an important result that paves the way for the recognition of the damage caused by the vaccination against Covid" said the lawyer Angelo Farruggia, who is helping the woman, commenting on the recognition of the causal link by the Military Medical Commission of Messina.
"Many injured after the administration of the vaccine are not able to have certain diagnoses and therefore are forced to make continuous specialized visits with their own money. Recognizing the causal link paves the way for compensatory action against the vaccine manufacturers and the Ministry of Health itself," concludes the lawyer.
