The armed clash in Antwerp, the names of the Albanians involved are revealed

All five people involved in Wednesday's shooting near Meir have been arrested. They are accused of attempted murder. A group from Brussels and two Albanians were involved in the armed clash, while all the persons are in prison.

Antwerp's public prosecutor's office officially announced on Friday afternoon that all five suspects have now been placed under arrest warrants. The three injured people involved, who were admitted to a Cadiz hospital on Wednesday with gunshot wounds, were arrested by the investigating judge.

The three are 38-year-old Salvatore P. from Ganshoren, 23-year-old Sergeyevich AD from Boom EG and 32-year-old Albanian Eno G. with no address in Belgium.

Two men, who were not injured in the shooting at the Jesus Street apartment, were arrested Thursday. It is about the 36-year-old Albanian Findi X., without an address in Belgium, and the 29-year-old Ardak G. from Brussels.

What was the exact purpose of the meeting between the two Albanians and the group of Brussels suspects, remains unclear. During further investigation, a limited amount of cocaine, approximately 1 kg, was found, but it is not certain if this was the reason the two groups had agreed to meet.

Some suspects have criminal records in Belgium. All five will appear before the council chamber on Monday.
