The death that shocked Italy, the videos shared on the Internet

The death of a Nigerian immigrant in central Italy who was a street vendor has sparked outrage and disgust.

The widely distributed images on the Internet have also caused strong reactions from citizens on social networks.

In the videos on the Internet, a person can be seen who had put down and was brutally beating the immigrant lying on the ground, who then lost his life.

Witnesses of this disgusting scene have filmed the moments of violence and no one has intervened to stop the violence of the Italian citizen against the Nigerian citizen.

A 32-year-old Italian man has been arrested as a suspect on charges of murder.

The video of the attack has shocked the community, where many people point out the "indifference" of the witnesses, writes the BBC.

The circumstances of the event are unclear.

Call for justice

The victim has been identified as Alika Ogorchukwu, married and the father of two children.

On Saturday hundreds of people from the local Nigerian community took to the streets of Civitanova Marche, in the Marche region, to demand justice.

The attack has also been condemned by Italian politicians.
