Former US President Joe Biden has reacted for the first time after it was announced that he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer.
Biden and his wife, Jill Biden, said they were grateful for the love and support they have received since the former president's office announced his cancer diagnosis on Sunday.
"Cancer touches us all. Like many of you, Jill and I have learned that we are strongest where we are broken. Thank you for supporting us with love and support ," Biden wrote.
