The analyst and political scientist Nexhmedin Spahiu has described the situation in the North of Kosovo as very disturbing and hot.

He said that the resignation of Serbian officials from all Kosovo institutions is a clear warning for declaring war.

He warned that one of the possible scenarios is that Serbian gangs start the war in the north of Kosovo, and then NATO will attack Serbia.

"In war, a possible scenario is this, the incidents become more frequent, then the propaganda takes its toll, the Serbian state intervenes in Kosovo. Maybe first KFOR will tolerate it until there is a military victim, and then NATO will attack Serbia, this is the only solution if there is no agreement.

My hope is that Vučič, Albin Kurti and international mediators have agreed to aggravate the situation, scare the population, and then say that we did not go to war and we are approving the agreement. This is the best option, Kurti and Vucic can know the worst option. If there is no agreement between them, war is inevitable", he said for "Abc".

Was this tense situation in Kosovo expected after Mr. Kurti's decision, and what does the act of the Serbian list deputies bring?

Spahiu : Not to this extent. What is happening is an act of war. The withdrawal from all the institutions of Kosovo, this is a political action, the withdrawal of all the police, judges, admission should not simply be returned, but competitions are needed, it is a very important issue. This issue is a declaration of war.

Apart from the part of the moral act, or the political act, what changes for the administration in Kosovo?

Spahiu: The Serbian minority in Kosovo is a small 5%, in a substantial sense it would not be a problem for those who make up the majority community, if those who make up the nation were very capable. But in the Courts in the north of Mitrovica, the best prosecutors and the best judges were those of the Serbian community, in this respect the functioning of the Kosovo state has been damaged. I have heard Albanian police officers who said that when we were taking criminals, they prayed that the prosecutors would be Serbs, since Albanians were corruptible. In this sense, Kosovo has been damaged. It is a damage that has returned Kosovo to 1999 in terms of the integration of the Serbian community in Kosovo. Why did Vucic do this? Spahiu: Në luftë, një skenar i mundshëm është ky, incidentet shpeshtohen, pastaj propaganda bën të vetën, intervenon shteti serb në Kosovë. Ndoshta fillimisht KFOR do ta tolerojë deri sa të ketë viktimë ndonjë ushtarak, dhe pastaj NATO do të sulmojë Serbinë, kjo është e vetmja zgjidhje nëse nuk ka ndonjë marrëveshje. Shpresa ime është mos Vuiçiç, Albin Kurti dhe ndërmjetës ndërkombëtarë janë marrë vesh që të acarojnë situatën, të frikësojnë popullatën, dhe pastaj të thonë që ja nuk u çuam në luftë dhe po miratojmë marrëveshjen. Ky është varianti më i mirë, variantin më të keq mund ta dijë Kurti dhe Vuçiç. Nëse nuk ka marrëveshje mes tyre është e pashmangshme lufta.

Kjo çështja e targave që mbetet mola e sherrit, duket se zoti Kurti nuk kishte rrugë tjetër, nga ana tjetër dhe SHBA dhe Rama kërkojnë dialog. Në gjykimin tuaj do duhet të kishte një tjetër afat?

Spahiu: Çështja e targave është simbolike, por nuk është një çështje e parëndësishme, sepse Serbia kërkon të tregojë që Veriu i Kosovës nuk është Kosovë. Në Kosovë qeveria do të tregojë se Kosova është shtet sovran, në këtë garë se kush dominon ka ndodhur dhe gjithë kjo çfarë kemi parasysh. Pse dështoi ky proces? Dështoi sepse qeveria e Kosovës nuk arriti t’i konvertojnë të gjithë banorët serbë në targa të Kosovës, pasi bandat e Vuçiç nuk e lejuan atë, 5 makina u dogjën nga ana e këtyre bandave. Policia e Kosovës nuk mundi të kapë asnjë nga kriminelët, qeveria e Kosovës nuk u tregua e vëmendshme të kompensojë asnjë nga pronarët që iu dogj makina. Përderisa ti nuk je në gjendje të mbrosh qytetarët nga banditët, apo tu kompensosh dëmin, ti po kalon në hapin  që i detyron të tjerët me dhunë që të ndryshojnë tabelat. Ana e perëndimit u pa si një pazotësi e qeverisë së Kosovës të menaxhojë situatën dhe u kërkua ta shtyjë me 10 muaj. Kurti në pamundësi të tjera mori këtë vendim që mori dhe situata erdhi në këtë shkallë, ku tani ose një marrëveshje në momentin e fundit, ose zgjidhjen me luftë. Me luftë janë të gjithë humbës.
