The boss of one of the most dangerous mafia groups in Italy, Matteo Messina Denaro, has often traveled to Albania where he seems to have held meetings with representatives of institutions, entrepreneurs and criminal groups.

The Italian media reveal some of the trips that Denaro has made in many countries while he has been wanted by the authorities.

"Supermafiozi" has traveled to Spain, Tunisia, Albania and Montenegro. According to "IlFattoQuotidano", Denaro has sent his granddaughter's husband, Luca Bellomo, to Albania to establish contacts.

Then, the article continues, Denaro traveled personally to establish relations with representatives of Albanian institutions and entrepreneurs.

On his last trip to these states, Denaro also stopped in Montenegro to play in a casino.
