People with big hearts are seen in times of need. Such is Sarigul Kaçan, a 70-year-old from Turkey. The elderly woman from the village of Karahan, near the areas hit by the earthquake, has performed a truly noble and humane gesture. She had no property, but she sold the only valuable thing and donated the money to aid.
It is about her calf that she raised for a long time to become a cow. The 70-year-old woman sold it for 13 thousand liras, or about 675 euros, on the market and handed over the money to help people affected by the earthquake.
The action of the elderly woman has affected many people, causing everyone to mobilize and donate a little of their wealth to this tragedy that has happened.
"I forgive the cow for those who died in the earthquake. May God protect and save our President, those who are helping people, our soldiers and anyone who is pulling people out of the ruins. May God not test our country with such events again" – said the old woman.
So far, more than 17,000 people have been pulled out of the rubble of the earthquakes that hit Turkey and Syria.
