The victim and the perpetrator

A serious incident was recorded a few days ago in Kuçukçekmece, Istanbul, where the father-in-law shot his son-in-law to death with a knife in the heart, after a fight between them.

Turhan Ketenci claimed before the jury that he had gone to clarify with Krushku, but the victim, his son-in-law, had cursed and spat in his face. This action aggravated the situation and brought tragedy.

Volkan Turhan Ketenci, who became a father 6 days ago, was stabbed in the heart, causing his immediate death.

Volkan's father demanded justice for his son, while he said that the girl's father had never been in favor of his daughter's marriage with Volkan and that since they were engaged, they had had constant clashes between them.

These conflicts had further increased after the pregnancy of the deceased's fiancee. According to the witnesses, the perpetrator of the murder took a bread knife with him, while the victim was initially seriously injured and was taken to the hospital, but could not survive the injuries.

In the indictment, it is requested that the defendant Turhan Ketenci be sentenced to life imprisonment for the criminal offense of 'intentional murder'.
