Scientists: July will be the warmest month on record in the world

Scientists are estimating that July is "preliminarily certain" to be the warmest month on record in the world.

They are convinced that the record of 2019 will be broken and that it could be the warmest month in the last 120,000 years, even though there are still a few days left until the end of this month.

This extreme heat is believed to be mainly related to the use of fossil fuels.

The world's warmest day was on July 6, and the 23 hottest days ever recorded were all this month, according to the Copernicus Climate Change Services.
