Born on October 2, 1919, Kathleen Hemmings from the Sandfields of Great Britain shares the secret of her longevity.
She attributes her 104 years of life to the fact that she has never been married. Kathleen grew up in Brixton and worked as an accountant for many years.
She spent the Second World War period in London and then in 1965 moved with her mother and brother to Cheltenham.
Besides work, she has always been quite energetic. To this day she spends her evenings dancing or attending ballet and opera performances.
But what is the secret of such a long life?
Well, Kathleen has it down to just five words: " Drink beers and don't get married !"
Her birthday this time was organized by the family, a grand celebration that best suited the number of years. Kathleen said she had a wonderful day, calling it a "historic birthday"./ Gloucestershirelive.co.UK
