Russia tested the most powerful missile in the world, the US is not surprised:
Sarmat RS-2 missile

Russia today tested the most powerful intercontinental ballistic missile available, known militarily as the Sarmat RS-28 missile in Russia and the Satan-2 missile in Western countries.

The missile, which can travel over 13,000 kilometers and has the capacity to hold up to 13 atomic bombs inside it, according to official channels has been successfully tested, starting from the Plesetsk base in the northwest and reaching targets a few minutes later on the peninsula of Kamchatka, in the eastern extreme, not far from Japan.

Congratulating the officers in charge of the test, Putin said Satan-2 would be food for "the minds of those who dare to threaten Russia, our enemies must think twice."

Following the news of the Russian Ministry of Defense that it has tested the new missile, the Pentagon also reacted.

Pentagon spokesman John Kirby has said it is not a threat to the United States and its allies after Moscow properly informed Washington about testing under its nuclear treaty obligations.

"It was not a surprise," Pentagon spokesman John Kirby told reporters.
