Three Kosovo police officers, arrested by Serbian forces on June 14, were ordered to be detained this Friday.
REL reports that the judge of the preliminary procedure at the High Court in Kralevë made the decision following the request of the public prosecutor of this city.
According to the Serbian authorities, they are suspected of having committed the criminal offence: production, possession, possession and illegal trafficking of weapons and explosives.
The decision came within the 48-hour deadline after the police detention. Prishtina authorities say that Rifat Zeka, Beqir Sefi and Mustafa Shemi were kidnapped by Serbian forces inside the territory of Kosovo.
Meanwhile, the situation in the north of Kosovo continues to be problematic.
A group of Serbian protesters crossed the KFOR cordon and settled in front of the municipality building in Leposavic. The protest happened when Minister Krasniqi entered to meet the mayor of the municipality, Liburn Aliu.
Meanwhile, 4 explosions occurred during the night near the police stations in Zveçan and North Mitrovica. The police say that it is suspected that they were thrown from a moving vehicle and left the scene.
While at the border point in Jarinje, queues have formed with trucks that have stopped and are waiting, after the blockade imposed by the Kosovo government on Serbian goods.
