The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti spoke today during a conference for the media, where he also commented on the assassination they had organized against him, which was published in the media.

" I don't know how safe I am, but I can confirm that I feel safe. While I am sure, the security bodies decide that they take adequate measures. It is true that I was aware of the plan for those three assassinations, but you also saw from the information that came out, that the goal was to frighten the population, destabilize the country ", said Kurti.

He was asked about the so-called "new framework" of the dialogue with Serbia, where he said that he does not comment on documents without an author, and that only documents produced in Brussels should be commented on.

" Different documents are circulating, but I believe that it is neither useful nor right to comment on those documents that have no author, but are made to measure the pulse of citizens and politicians ", Kurti said.

During the weekend, a document was published that was said to be the "new framework" proposed for the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia. According to this document, mutual recognition is no longer part of the final agreement, but among other things, Kosovo is guaranteed the recognition of five EU countries.

Kurti said that the normalization of relations with Serbia should be done with a legally binding agreement, "where mutual recognition should be at the center". Kurti made these statements after the opening of the "Digital Summit" in Pristina.
