Iranian President: We will not stop nuclear activity, response to Israel will be devastating

Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian has warned that his country's response to Israel's continued "aggression" will be "most devastating," as fighting between the two foes continues into its ninth day.

"Our response to the Zionist regime's continued aggression will be most devastating," Pezeshkian said in a phone call with French President Emmanuel Macron, IRNA reports.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said Tehran would not stop nuclear activity "under any circumstances."

"We are ready to discuss and cooperate to build trust in the field of peaceful nuclear activities, but we do not agree to reduce nuclear activities under any circumstances," Pezeshkian said in a phone call with French President Emmanuel Macron, according to the official IRNA news agency.
