Severe footage / Balloon carrying 22 people crashes, at least eight dead in Brazil

At least eight people have died after a hot air balloon crashed in Brazil.

About 22 people were on board when the incident occurred in the southern state of Santa Catarina, state governor Jorginho Mello said Saturday morning in a post on the social network "X".

The footage shows the balloon's basket engulfed in flames as it detaches and falls to the ground.
