President Vjosa Osmani has reacted after the injury of the Kosovo policeman in the North, and the attacks that are being made on journalists there.
"The open threat of police and military aggression by Serbia proves that the hegemonic mentality continues in that country. This must be rejected and clearly opposed by the entire democratic world, which dealt the strongest blow to this mindset in 1999," the president wrote on Facebook.
"Last night's wounding of a member of the Kosovo Police is a criminal act and directed against the constitutional order and sovereignty of Kosovo as well as against actions for the rule of law. Also, attacks on journalists constitute a flagrant violation of the right to free information".
Osmani said that Serbian policemen and soldiers will never be allowed on the territory of Kosovo. "The authors of these crimes must be urgently brought to justice, while the justice institutions must act immediately."
"There will never be policemen and soldiers from Serbia in the territory of the Republic of Kosovo! Serbia's hegemonic dream will never come true!", writes Vjosa Osmani.
