The journalist of "The Guardian", Dan Sabbagh, has presented five possible scenarios for the development of the war in Ukraine in the next six months.

The first prediction according to him is that the conflict will last almost another year, but it will not be as intense as last spring.

Moreover, there will be no negotiations between Moscow and Kiev in the next six months.

According to the second scenario, Ukraine will not carry out a counterattack and will begin to implement the tactics of partisan attacks, as well as carry out attacks with long-range missile systems.

In the third prediction, the author believes that Russia will continue the offensive, but its goal will be to hold Ukrainian territories.

Meanwhile, the fourth variant is that the refugee crisis with the arrival of winter will offer additional opportunities for those who manage to prepare better for it.

Moscow sees the onset of winter as an opportunity to make peace with Kiev, but on its own terms, the article says.

In the fifth prediction, the West will have to decide whether it wants Ukraine to win or simply stay, because without Western military aid, Kiev would suffer defeat.
