"Stargate" launches, the project requested by Trump aims to invest 500 billion dollars by 2029

The 'Stargate' project requested by Donald Trump is launched. According to him, it is the largest infrastructure project of Artificial Intelligence, and will be a collaboration between OpenAI and Chat GPT, Soft Bank, Oracle and the investment company Mgx.

The objective is to invest up to $500 billion by 2029, with $100 of that being deployed, consolidating American leadership in the Artificial Intelligence sector, creating 100,000 jobs and generating increased economic income for the country.

The president of the project will be Masayoshi Son, CEO of Softbank, while Sam Altman will lead it at the operational level.

Currently, both OpenAI and SoftBank have invested $19 billion each. Stargate is currently building 10 data centers in Abilene, Texas, with long-term plans to expand to other states.

President Trump, who personally considers it very important, has announced that he will issue executive orders to facilitate the construction of the infrastructure necessary for the development of the project.

Oracle CEO Larry Ellison said after meeting with the White House that Stargate could revolutionize the production of mRNA vaccines against cancer, making it possible to design them in just 48 hours thanks to the capacity of Artificial Intelligence.
