Rowan Atkinson was spotted filming scenes in London, sparking rumors of the iconic "Mr Bean" returning to the big screen.

The 70-year-old actor was seen leaving Piccadilly Circus tube station on Monday, holding a baby in his arms and miming the confused expression of his famous character.

The star, who first played Mr Bean in 1990, appeared wearing a blue coat, knitted hat and a large red bag, fueling speculation about new episodes of the beloved character.

A fan who posted a video of the filming on Instagram wrote: "Mr Bean is in Piccadilly Circus, London," as comments flooded in, with his fans wondering if this is a new film or a special episode.

However, the truth is different, as the actor is not preparing his return as Mr Bean, but is starring in his new series "Man Vs Baby", a sequel to the 2022 comedy series, "Man Vs Bee".

In this new adventure, Rowan Atkinson returns as Trevor Bingley, who, after his chaotic experience as a housekeeper in a luxury mansion, now faces a new challenge, caring for a child in a luxury London apartment.

The new series will consist of four episodes and was created and written by the actor himself, in collaboration with Will Davis.

Last December, Netflix unveiled a humorous first look at the series, where Atkinson was digitally altered to appear in various popular series, such as "Fool Me Once," "One Day," "Sex Education," and the animated film "Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget."

In the 2022 series "Man Vs Bee," Atkinson starred as a bumbling father who takes a job at a mansion filled with priceless artwork, classic cars, and an adorable dog.

However, his attempt to neutralize a problem bee ends in a devastating mess.

In addition to his new series, Rowan Atkinson is reportedly preparing to return to the role of Johnny English, with reports indicating that a fourth film of the famous spy scoundrel is in the works.

The actor last played the agent in 2018 in the film Johnny English Strikes Again, alongside Ben Miller and Emma Thompson.

Although he had previously expressed doubts about the possibility of a new film, stating in a Reddit AMA that he "doubted" the possibility, he added: "Never say never."
