The agreement on unblocking the export of grain to Ukrainian ports is signed in

Today in Istanbul, an agreement will be signed to unblock the export of grain from Ukrainian ports, the first real agreement between the parties since the beginning of the war, last February 24.

This good news is counterbalanced by reports coming from the war zones: Russian bombing continues and also hits civilian structures and homes, Ukrainians accuse the Russians of wanting to use the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant as a depot for their "entire arsenal," and the Russians from for their part accuse Kiev forces of aiming to cause "a nuclear catastrophe in Europe" with their attacks on the power plant.

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko spoke about the possibility of the conflict spreading: "Let's stop and then find out how to continue living. There is no need to go further. Further is the abyss of nuclear war."

And former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev added fuel to the fire by saying that "as a result of all that is happening, Ukraine may lose what is left of its state sovereignty and disappear from the maps."
