The Mystery of Iran's Supreme Leader: Where is Mojtaba Khamenei?

New reports have raised questions about the internal situation in Iran, as Saudi television network Al-Hadath, citing an Israeli security source, claims that Iran's supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, is no longer on Iranian territory.

According to reports, Mojtaba Khamenei, who took over the leadership of the Islamic Republic after the death of his father, Ali Khamenei, in the US-Israeli attacks on February 28, has not appeared publicly since taking office. So far, he has communicated only through written statements.

One of these messages was recently broadcast by Iranian state television, where the supreme leader warned the United States of consequences in the event of a resumption of war.

"Now that the American enemy is seeking to restart the war, it should know that the Iranian nation and the resistance front have unforgettable lessons to teach it," the statement said. It also accused the US of violating Islamabad's memorandum of understanding, stating that "the signature of the American president has no value."

However, according to the same source cited by Al-Hadath, these statements were not written by Mojtaba Khamenei himself, but by the new head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Ahmad Vahidi, in collaboration with other senior officials of this institution.

The Israeli source also claims that deep disagreements exist within Iran, which, according to him, have reached a level that threatens the very existence of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

At the same time, according to the same report, the United States does not want Israel to participate in a new American military operation against Iran, even if Tehran launches an attack on Israel.

However, these claims have not been confirmed by independent sources and so far there has been no official reaction from Iranian, American or Israeli authorities regarding the published reports.
