The Pakistani Air Force reportedly carried out airstrikes in the Afghan capital, Kabul, on Thursday evening.

Strong explosions were reported in the center and north of the city, where several civilian homes were hit.

According to unconfirmed reports, Pakistani Taliban (TTP) leaders Noor Wali Mehsud along with Qari Saifullah Mehsud and Khalid Mehsud, potential successors, were reportedly killed in the attacks.

Also today, Pakistan's Defense Minister, Khawaja Asif, stated that the Afghan interim administration had requested money from Islamabad to relocate terrorists of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), a conglomerate of several terrorist groups, away from its border.

Speaking in the National Assembly, Asif accused the Afghan interim administration of supporting the TTP terrorist group against Pakistan and providing safe havens inside their country.
