Political analyst Fatmir Sheholli was arrested today by the Kosovo Police, in cooperation with the Kosovo Intelligence Agency.

Footage of the arrest of Sheholli, who was suspected of being involved in espionage activities, has been released.

" The Kosovo Police, in close cooperation with the KIA and the prosecution, arrested Fatmir Sheholli today, on well-founded suspicions of involvement in espionage.  I expect institutional treatment with high seriousness of this case, which constitutes one of the most serious acts against the security and constitutional order of the Republic of Kosovo ," announced the acting Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla.
