Jordan Bardella , only 28 years old, is the youngest politician to lead the far-right party, Rassemblement National (RN), in France. 

Bardella joined what was then France's National Front at the age of 16.

In the same year in 2012, the leader of the party, Marine Le Pen, ran for president for the first time and failed to win, i.e. they came in third place.

Known for his youth support, he is a charismatic figure who has 1.2 million followers on TikTok, and is proving to be a huge asset in attracting an increasingly younger crowd to vote for the party. , a group that Marine Le Pen, a member of the French National Assembly, has had difficulty winning over. 

In November 2022, he was elected to succeed Marine Le Pen as president of the far-right party.

A year later, he was appointed, for the second time in a row, as the main candidate of the National Rally and is expected to remain at the head of the party for many years.
