Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti has confirmed the wiretapping carried out by senior Serbian officials within the meetings in Brussels within the framework of the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.
Kurti said that this action shows a new form of Serbia's undermining and sabotaging approach.
In the show "Five" of Dukagjini television, wiretaps were published this week that Igor Popovi?, assistant director in the so-called Office for Kosovo in the government of Serbia, had made at the meeting on September 17, 2020 in Brussels in the framework of the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.
These illegal wiretapping of conversations with European officials, this Friday, were also confirmed by the acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, at the meeting of the Government in detail.
"The latest case where the illegal and secret audiorecording of the conversations in Brussels is witnessed is an extremely serious case that exposes in a form that we have not encountered before of Serbia's systematic, destructive, undermining and sabotaging approach, in relation to the parties, the mediator and the process mediated by Brussels itself," said Albin Kurti, acting Prime Minister of Kosovo.
Popovic was arrested on July 18 this year in Kosovo after calling the KLA a terrorist.
Kurti added that Serbia is continuing to work for the destabilization of Kosovo, while saying that the security bodies are successfully opposing it.
