A new wave of rocket attacks on Israel has begun, according to recent reports from Iranian state media.
The Iranian military has warned Israeli citizens to evacuate immediately, in anticipation of further strikes.
Iran's national broadcaster, citing the country's military, has issued a direct warning to residents of what it calls the "Occupied Territories," referring to the state of Israel, to evacuate in order to survive.
Iranian state television added that the attacks would continue in response to the airstrike that destroyed the Iranian broadcaster's headquarters in Tehran.
Iranian military forces have also ordered the evacuation of the headquarters of Israeli television stations Channel 12 and Channel 14, which are thought to be direct targets of the next attacks.
Earlier in the day, Iranian Ambassador to the UN, Amir Saeid Iravani, stated that Iran had acted in accordance with the right to self-defense, by undertaking "proportionate defensive operations," which, according to him, were directed exclusively against military targets and relevant infrastructure in Israeli territory.
On the other hand, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tried to make a clear distinction between Israel's objectives and those of Iran.
He stated that Israel has only struck nuclear and missile threats, while accusing Iran of deliberate attacks on civilians.
According to the Iranian Health Ministry, at least 224 people have been killed since the Israeli attacks began on Friday.
