Iran proposes deal to US to reopen Strait of Hormuz

Iran has presented the United States with a new proposal to reach an agreement aimed at reopening the Strait of Hormuz and reducing tensions in the Middle East.

According to Axios reporting, the offer was routed through Pakistani intermediaries.

Sources indicate that the proposal aims to break the current deadlock in negotiations between the two countries and pave the way for a de-escalation of the situation in the region, including the possibility of ending the conflict.

However, one of the main conditions set by Tehran is the postponement of talks on its nuclear program. "Nuclear negotiations should be postponed until further notice," the submitted proposal states.
