In Gjakova, on Sunday, the dance competition from the Ura e Fshejte was held, this already traditional competition for this municipality, which organized its 73rd edition.

Great adrenaline is what characterizes this race, but the risk of participating in it is also quite high.

Among the three members of the jury who evaluated the contestants was the former contestant and dancer from Ura e Sshejte, Sokol Haliti, who was the champion of this competition, but also the runner-up of the dances from Ura e Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

But Hoti has bitter memories of the Mostar bridge, since in 1988 his close friend Besim Mulliqi lost his life there after jumping from a height of 30 meters.

He tells KosovaPress that the tragic event happened because of the high altitude and high water pressure that caused Besim Mulliq's back to hurt.

Hoti adds that the fear that something like this could also happen in the dances from Ura e Fshejte is followed from year to year when they start preparing for the organization of this competition.
