Hamas accepts cease-fire deal: The ball is now in Israel's court

Western media reports that the militant group Hamas has accepted the cease-fire agreement with Gaza.

The leaders of the group have informed the negotiators, while the details are not yet public.

CNN reports that Ismail Haniyeh, the organization's political leader, has told Qatari and Egyptian negotiators that Hamas accepts their ceasefire agreement.

"The ball is now in Israel's court," declared a Hamas exponent quoted by international media.

In the past days, Israel had emphasized that it was not in the same line with Hamas regarding the agreement and that it will occupy Rafah.

Immediately after the publication of this news, dozens of citizens took to the streets of Gaza to celebrate the achievement of the ceasefire agreement. Now everything will depend on what Israel's deal will be.
