Kadyrov's Chechens ready to face Wagner's mercenaries near Moscow
Ramzan Kadyrov

Ramzan Kadyrov's Chechen forces have pledged allegiance to Vladimir Putin and have arrived on the outskirts of Rostov and are ready to confront the Wagner mercenaries.

The latter, since the early hours of the morning, have occupied the big southern Russian city and started their journey towards Moscow, where they seek to overthrow the government.

The head of the mercenaries, Yevgeny Prigozhin, has been clear about his objectives, saying he wants to physically eliminate Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu, as well as oust Vladimir Putin from power, after the latter called his move a "stab in the back" for Russia.

Kadyrov and his Chechen army have been determined to retaliate against Wagner, and only now are some forces beginning to arrive in Rostov.

It is not known whether the incursion will begin immediately, or whether further forces must be assembled.

But the Wagner mercenaries are determined and prepared for any confrontation, where Prigozhin previously said that "25 thousand of his fighters are ready to die in war".
