The leader of the Democratic Party,  Sali Berisha, has valued the battle of democratic women over the past few years against women's governance.

At the end-of-year holiday meeting with the LDG, Berisha appealed to the women of the DP that 'their battle at this stage is decisive for the victory of democracy and the overthrow of the narco-dictatorship'.

" We set the European standard in maternity leave. We set the standard among the best that exists."

But on the other hand, from 2009 to 2013, the population grew year by year. Children stayed in Albania, they didn't leave their homes.

Our program did not achieve all the objectives, but I guarantee that the next program will foresee other objectives in this equality.

It will provide for iron-clad protection of women and girls from violence.

It will provide for the most severe punishments against those who dare to violate their dignity.

It will provide special protection and care for single mothers, who in our society today are perhaps more numerous than anywhere else for a complex set of reasons.

We will do everything we can to ensure that their talent and abilities are revealed in their best interest, first and foremost, and in the best interest of society and democracy in this country.

Your resistance has been epic and with this resistance you managed to re-establish the DP as the most powerful political force.

You never tired, you never backed down in your battle to defend just causes.

But now we are in the final stage of our battle.

And your struggle, your dedication, your commitment at this stage is decisive for the victory of democracy and the overthrow of the narco-dictatorship with the vote of Albanians.

I want to tell you that since he is surrounded by a number of ministers, Edi Rama says that with women I have solved the problem of the vote. While he denies it to the young people because he knows that with his arrogance, the young people passively do not respect him in any way.

But I have great confidence in you that with your great dedication, with your commitment, with your integrity, you will achieve the most successful electoral effort in 32 years.

It is of crucial importance and I want to inform you that it has been repeatedly proven that the electoral power of women is much greater than the electoral power of men.

That women are much more convincing in their electoral power, their electoral commitment, than men.

I say this to you to understand how crucially important it is for you to continue the battle, first and foremost for every girl, every Albanian woman, wherever she is.

And you knock on every heart of every lady, of every young lady with a program that will give the quickest and most decisive answer to the sharp problems that a mother, a grandmother, a sister faces every day.

"The key to this stance is to reverse the distribution of budget revenues and national income. We will return them to the citizens ," Berisha said.
