Kosovo responds to Belgrade, rejects request for visit by Serbian minister

Kosovo has rejected a request for a visit from Serbian Minister of Information and Telecommunications, Dejan Ristic, in response to a similar decision taken by Belgrade.

The news was confirmed to REL by Qëndresa Fazliu from the Communications Office at the MJPD.

"This decision comes after the actions of the Government of Serbia in refusing to allow visits by the majority of senior representatives of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, especially visits intended to be carried out in Preševo, Medvedja and Bujanovac, a stance that has become even more harsh in recent months and in violation of the Brussels Agreement on official visits," said Fazliu.

The MFA said that Ristic had requested to stay in Kosovo from December 24 to 26.
