The former deputy director of the National Information Agency, Daniel Shima, who "disappeared" for several days in the summer of 2025, has created a genuine money laundering scheme, money that is suspected to have originated from AKSHI tenders. Vox News has continuously reported on a multitude of companies owned by Shima's relatives, from his cousin, his mother, a seamstress, to other friends or acquaintances.

The suspicions are that, through this network, millions of euros have been channeled into construction companies, properties, apartments, building permits, or even building buildings. Hotels have even been built, car wash companies have been established, or even IT consulting companies, a field in which the 34-year-old himself operates.

Meanwhile, in these lines we will stop at another large property of his relatives, his first cousin, Marin Shpata, who created several car wash companies from scratch and in 2023, at the peak of AKSHI's work, opened a luxury restaurant in the Lundra area, Farka.

In October 2023, the E – Lava company, owned by Marin Shpatës, opened another business called “Magus Tirana”. The restaurant was opened in Farka, Lundë, on “Rezervat e Shtatite” street. It is a very luxurious property, in one of the most elite areas in Tirana, where villas have been built for the richest.

It seems that Shpata and Shima have entered under this umbrella and have managed to quickly open this business. The company's activities have included restaurants, bars, delivery, import - export and wholesale trade in food products. Even organizing events for the richest people in Albania.

The initial capital of the commercial company will be equal to 200 thousand lek and will consist of the quotas of the founding partner of the company.

Vox News has learned that in the spring of 2025, Marin Shpata sold the company "Magus Tirana". "Deposit of the decision and sale contract, date

16.04.2025, which confirms the transfer of 100% of the company's shares from the partner 'e-LAVA' in favor of 'GREEN on REPEAT'", the contract states.

The same document states that the sale value of this business, which used to generate hundreds of thousands of euros, is only 200,000 lekë. There are suspicions that this was done to hide the money, as how is it possible that in a very elite location, in one of the most luxurious areas in Tirana, a business is sold for the price of a phone?!

The restaurant was located in an environment worth over 500 thousand euros, while the investment in that place alone could reach another 500 thousand euros. It was luxuriously furnished, there was a whole "wealth" inside, and yet it is being sold for 200 thousand lek?

Vox News has continuously denounced a series of investigations into how Daniel Shima, or other characters from the AKSHI file, have enriched themselves at the expense of Albanian taxpayers. The case in question is clear evidence of how a business was founded, established and continues to operate. Meanwhile, in recent days, as soon as our editorial team denounced Shima's assets, the business in question has been "deleted" from social networks.

It is learned that "Magus Tirana" in the Lundra area, Farka, had an Instagram page with thousands of followers. Meanwhile, if we search these days, which coincide with Daniel Shimë's investigations, the page has "disappeared". However, there are other photos on the internet, where it appears that the business in question is very luxurious and very well maintained.

It seems that Daniel not only has his finger in the tenders of the AKSHI, but he is all painted. It is enough for the Special Prosecution to track down these names, Merita, Redvini or even Sokol and they will see wonders. How some anonymous people, with minimal income, suddenly became big businessmen, circulating and buying properties worth millions of euros.

After leaving his position as deputy director of AKSHI, Daniel decided to go public, founding the company "Digital Euphoria", a company that dealt with consulting and marketing. A broad field where you can easily clean dirty money.

Vox News has learned that in 2023, at the peak of Daniel Shimë's career, his first cousin, Marin Shpata, opened the company "E-Lava", which had several car wash points, a business that exceeded 500 thousand euros. What connects "E-Lava" with Daniel Shimë? On the surface, the former deputy director can be justified in not being responsible for what job or business his uncle's son has. But when Daniel and Marin have the same address, are they related?!

Danieli got into the business of paper after leaving government service, as he quickly founded another firm, called “Blitz Facility Management”. This firm was “owned” by Danieli’s first company “Digital Euphoria”. This is where the connection between Marini and Danieli is made, as both “E-Lava” and “Blitz” have the same address declared at the National Business Center; Rruga e Kavajës, Garden Building, tower 24, floor 6, apartment 2A.
