Agim Xhindoli of Lushnja has become one of Albania's youngest oligarchs, as his life has completely changed after a podcast with Edi Rama, who publicly praised how a right-wing businessman opened the doors of business to a left-wing prime minister.

Immediately after that interview, Xhindoli's own doors opened as if by magic, as during this time he won tenders, received huge permits for photovoltaic parks in several districts, such as Lushnje and Saranda. He even obtained these permits with the signature of Prime Minister Edi Rama himself.

Meanwhile, during this same time, Xindol has begun to "copy" his idol, in black clothes, hats, white sneakers and even with a white beard. But, the "spouse" has already crossed the rainbow, as he continues to gain permission with the greatest ease.

More than Xhondoli, it seems that Prime Minister Edi Rama also has a "love" for the right-wing businessman's work, as he continues to sign the next projects with the greatest ease.

The government has approved and issued the next permit for Agim Xhindoli. It is a permit for a "1-story agricultural complex and 1-story warehouse for the collection and processing of agricultural products", located in the Municipality of Lushnja.

"The project area is located southwest of the city of Lushnja, at a distance of about 2 km as the crow flies from the city center of Lushnja. It is located in the coastal lowland in the Myzeqe plain. The property on which the project is being developed has an area of ??7541 m²," the documents state.

According to her, the property is located in the "October 18" neighborhood, on a field, near the city bypass.

According to documents researched by Vox News, the developer is "Përpu?im Mermer Granit" sh.pk, through the proposed project, seeking to build an agricultural complex, part of which are 2 buildings. The company in question is owned by the Xhindoli family, namely Agim, Darien and Tomorri.

"The buildings of the complex are conceived with simple and linear volumetry, in accordance with the agricultural-productive function and the character of the surrounding territory. The roofs are designed in a functional way, enabling the integration of photovoltaic panels and technical elements without negative impact on the architectural appearance," the document states.

Vox News published a few months ago the transformation of Agim Xhindoli, who was winning tenders and photovoltaic parks, after the "blessing" of Prime Minister Edi Rama. "From a local businessman, who lived and worked in Lushnje, Xhindoli suddenly started winning tenders with zero sums and acquiring huge properties in Saranda and Lushnje for photovoltaic parks. And, on the permit documents from the National Council of Territory and Water, there is the signature of Prime Minister Rama himself," our editorial team wrote.

Vox News researched documents on how the Council of Ministers approved the permit for the photovoltaic park of the company "5GX ENERGY" owned by 90% by Agim Xhindoli. According to it, it was decided that the installed capacity would be 10 MW and the deadline for commissioning and obtaining a construction permit would be within 36 months. The term of use is 49 years from the entry into force of this decision.

The formalities after Xhindoli's interview were followed by the actions of a number of institutions. After the VKM, the Municipality of Lushnja, according to Vox News, formally opened a notice for the "lease" of several properties located in the village of Allprenaj, Golem Administrative Unit, in Lushnja. On June 8, the auction was held and on June 19, the winner of the formal auction opened by the Municipality of Lushnja was announced. The winner? Naturally, Agim Xhindoli's "5GX ENERGY" company, which was also the only bid in this auction.

Meanwhile, businessman Agim Xhindoli will build another large solar power plant, this time in Savër, Lushnja. The Ministry of Infrastructure announced a few months ago that his company 3X Energy has applied for the construction of a photovoltaic park, with an installed capacity of 70 MW.

In 2025, Agim Xhindoli, together with businessman Paqsor Buzi, obtained 60 hectares of state-owned land from the Municipality of Saranda on a symbolic lease to build another large solar power plant there. The decision caused great opposition from the residents of Nivica, who claim that the property is theirs and cannot be alienated while it is in court.
