One of the new names in business in Albania is Sani Sanilevich, an Israeli-Albanian citizen, who within a short time is attempting to build an empire in our country, with strong connections that reach all the way to the Council of Ministers, private meetings with heads of state and influence in other ranks, given that he is an individual who "comes on orders."

Vox News has analyzed information from open sources, from documents and also from Israeli media, which say that Sanilevich has prepared the papers to build resorts in Albania, to get involved in important projects, to win tenders, to form partnerships with the state itself. In fact, his main goal is to get into healthcare, in a system that is totally suited to the private sector, since from year to year, despite the famous concessions, the service in public hospitals leaves much to be desired.

Currently, Sanilevich is strongly entering this system, who is also the Honorary Consul of Albania in Israel, who is known as the "friend" of Prime Minister Edi Rama, and has even organized Rama's famous meeting in Israel, at his farm, where he was also called by the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu. But, Sanilevich has also organized numerous meetings at his farm with officials of the Albanian Embassy in Israel, at a time when his plans for business in our country have begun to come to light.

At the same time that Sanilevich was meeting with Rama and other officials of the Albanian Embassy in Israel, his associates founded the company SeaSun Albania Capital in our country. The company's headquarters are located in the Kashari area of ??Tirana, while its object is civil and economic, industrial and tourist construction.

The company also deals with the trade of construction materials, sand and aggregates, marble and construction material production. Its scope also includes import and export of various materials, construction and management of tourist facilities, road construction, hydrotechnical construction, reconstruction of civil buildings, construction of engineering networks and any other activity permitted by Albanian legislation. In short, Sanilevich is strongly entering the construction market, especially in coastal areas, as Vox News has information that the same company, with the help of associates, or with connections to the governing dome, will obtain permits from state institutions for resorts.

A clean scheme to get involved, for clear benefits or fiscal incentives, which are always done if you have "friendship", since you can easily take state land to do private construction. But, looking at the company's facility, other doubts arise that Sanilevich is preparing to enter public tenders as well, normally he will not bring bulldozers or mortar and bricks from Israel, but will cooperate with local firms and in this way get his own percentages, just like the prime minister's other friend, Ron Yaffet, who has entered the car and weapons business.

But, does Saniel Sanilevich have significant capital in Albania or will he receive money? In the letters of the first firm he registered with the Central Bank, the consul writes that "the founding capital of the company is in the amount of 100 lek". Meanwhile, it is further quoted that the main partner is "Mr. Saniel Sanilevich, Albanian citizen, born in Israel on November 15, 1974, resident at the address Haegoz 102 Neve Yarak Israel, identified with the Albanian passport".

It seems that the heads of state themselves are committed to giving this consul all the benefits, initially with an expedited passport procedure, which he possesses because of the consul, and then with facilities for construction permits, agreements, or even tenders.

At the same time as the famous meetings of Rama or officials of the Albanian Embassy in Israel were taking place, Saniel Sanilevich, on July 12, 2025, made a power of attorney in Albania. Before a notary in Albania, the 51-year-old Sanilevich, "with free will, full will and without obligation, requested that in the capacity of administrator of the company 'SeaSun Albania Capital' I appoint as special representatives Mr. Xhet Hushi, born on June 4, 1986 in Elbasan, Mr. Kristaq Profkola, born on December 26, 1980, and Mrs. Dajana Marku, born on December 23, 1999".

According to the power of attorney, the first two have a lawyer's license, while the same document states that the three "are to represent and each undertake certain actions. "They, together or separately, are to represent me and act on behalf of the company at the Central Bank, to register the company, to register the company's decisions, to register the beneficial owner of the company and to register changes to the data registered in the register as a result of the sale or transfer of shares to other entities or various decision-making of the company."

Moreover, these persons have the right to sign agreements or contracts for the sale and transfer of the quota or part of it to third parties, or to sign other documents. In short, the persons in question are the most trusted people, with letters, of Sanilevich in our country.

Saniel Sanilevich's name and photos are easily found on the official website of the Albanian Embassy in Israel, where the 51-year-old is introduced as the "Honorary Consul of the Republic of Albania in Israel." In fact, the Albanian embassy staff themselves have held meetings at Sanilevich's farm on the outskirts of Tel Aviv, where Israeli media reports that Prime Minister Edi Rama also went.

According to the Israeli Foreign Ministry website, Sanilevich is a chairman and entrepreneur, owner of several companies in Israel and around the world. Since 2011, he has owned “Sanilevich Real Estate,” a real estate and development firm. “The company ‘Sanilevich Real Estate’ builds and owns large high-tech complexes, shopping malls and other facilities,” the description says.

He also turns out to be the owner of thousands of square meters of land in the center of Israel, as he is considered an environmentalist. In Israel, the honorary consul of Albania is also the owner of the firm “Yatir Investment Fund”, a firm that deals with financing startups in the early stages of development, and since 2016 he has also owned the farm “Sanilevich Winery Estate”, where he is the owner, farmer and wine producer. His winery produces about 30,000 bottles of wine per year.

Previously, from 2006 to 2011, he worked in the Israeli Prime Minister's Office, where he served as an advisor and campaign manager to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. In 2004–2006, he was in the special police unit, where he voluntarily served as commander of two special Israeli police units. His education is as an officer in the Israeli Navy, with the rank of captain, and he has a law degree.

The 51-year-old's threads have begun to be everywhere in Albania, precisely after his "appointment" as Honorary Consul, meetings with Prime Minister Edi Rama and his connections with senior officials of the Israeli government. His business plans have been clearly revealed in our country, where in addition to the company that he has officially registered with the Central Bank of Albania, Sanilevich is directly and indirectly involved in some of the largest projects in Albania, undertaken recently.

According to "TheMarker", he is also working on establishing a hospital in the country in Albania, while "hiding" behind the first digital bank "Jet Bank". He even aims to build a data center in our country. It is learned that over the last two years he has also been involved in the security and defense sector in Albania, in collaboration with former Israeli general Giora Eiland. Sanilevich and Eiland have also been engaged in the process that led to obtaining authorizations from the Albanian and Israeli authorities for the launch of direct tourist flights between Tel Aviv and Tirana.

According to Israeli media, in 2023, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama flew by charter for a secret visit to Israel. The destination was the private Sanilevich Winery Estate residence, where the Albanian Prime Minister was invited by the owner and his close friend, Saniel Sanilevich.

The same media outlets say that the 51-year-old is aiming for a big bite in Albania, namely his plan to start a healthcare business. There are strong suspicions that the same name could be included in the government's initiative to privatize healthcare tenders, through the creation of a joint public-private company that would have a monopoly on the purchase of medicines, medical equipment and all other public healthcare services.

Media reports in Israel have implicated Sanilevich in the Hadassah company, although it does not appear that he stole or embezzled funds, while the issue raised was mainly a potential conflict of interest. Sanilevich had been appointed chairman of the board of Hadassah International Israel, a structure that collects donations/funds for Hadassah. At the same time, according to reports referring to the Israeli newspaper The Marker, he was developing a project with businesswoman Yordana Ovadia to establish a private hospital in Albania.

The Israeli media rightly raised many questions about whether there might be a conflict between his role as head of a fundraising organization for Hadassah and his private interests in the hospital sector. However, Hadassah responded publicly by saying that Sanilevich was elected to the leadership of Hadassah Israel, while his business activities are independent. They even clarified that the event at his winery was organized on Sanilevich’s personal initiative and that only a limited number of Hadassah representatives attended.
