The workers of the "ALUMIL" company have come out in protest, boycotting work because they demand a salary increase and better working conditions, including a dedicated place where they can eat lunch.

"The salary is 400 thousand old lek, 8 hours of work. I have been working as a welder for 20 years, in 20 years my salary has increased by only 20 thousand old lek. The whole factory is in protest, there are almost 150 workers ready. We expect them to negotiate internally, if we didn't raise them, we don't do the work, even though the insurances are regular", said a worker.

Meanwhile, a woman added that she has been working for 20 years and has not been paid for seniority, adding that she is compared to a worker who has been working for a year.

Founded in 2004, as a manufacturing plant and representative of the well-known company in Greece, " Alumil Albania " has shown a very good approach and performance in the market, despite economic fluctuations worldwide.

Alumil is one of the biggest European names in the production of windows, doors and residential facades. The company in Tirana has 220 employees. The General Manager of ' Alumil Albania ' is Georgios Batsakis , it is not known if the employees have boycotted work again.
